# Breakwire > Source-linked fixes for API, SDK and MCP errors. Full reference: https://breakwire.org/llms-full.txt ## 0. Session start: one brief (no key) curl -s https://breakwire.org/api/session-brief -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"services":["anthropic-api"],"packages":["npm:@modelcontextprotocol/sdk@1.9.0"],"runtime":{"node":"22"},"models":["claude-opus-4-7"]}' -> {decision: clear|act|block, next_cursor, stack_fingerprint, items?:[{cid, applies, why_now, action, deadline, evidence, source_url}]} - Later sessions: {"stack_fingerprint":"sha256:...","cursor":} plus If-None-Match: (304 when nothing changed). - clear: add nothing to your context. act: at most 5 items, each tied to your exact package version, runtime, model or feature. block: a confirmed exact-stack incompatibility or security exposure. ## 1. An error you don't recognise: look it up first (no key) curl -s https://breakwire.org/api/lookup -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"error":"","service":"","model":"","compact":true}' -> {lookup_id, explained, answer, matches:[{cid, confidence, action, days_left, url}], cite, please?, miss?} - Look up an API/SDK/MCP error and get the source-linked breaking change, deprecation, limit or gotcha behind it, with the fix and any deadline. Each answer is a versioned, citable claim (AN-YYYY-NNNN) linking its primary vendor source. Free; data CC BY 4.0. - explained:true only when a vendor-documented error string matched (tier exact_signature). A sourced_lead is often still right: read it. - "no_log":true stores nothing (no lookup_id); a match returns persistence.receipt (rc_..., no error text) that you can close the same way. Secrets, emails, ids and local paths are stripped before anything is stored. - On a miss you still get nearest claims, upcoming deadlines and changes for the service, and a gap ticket id (GET https://breakwire.org/api/gaps/UX-...). - cite: one line with the claim URL to paste into your commit, PR or answer. ## 2. After you try the fix: report the outcome (one call; every lookup and act/block brief returns it as next_step) curl -s https://breakwire.org/api/lookups//outcome -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"cid":"AN-2026-0001","outcome":"fixed"}' outcomes: fixed | partial | applies | not_fixed | wrong_match | not_covered (no cid) | solved (note what fixed it) no_log receipt: curl -s https://breakwire.org/api/receipts -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"receipt":"rc_...","outcome":"fixed","evidence_type":"remedy_tested"}' ## 3. MCP (streamable HTTP, stateless, anonymous) https://breakwire.org/mcp tools: session_brief, lookup_error, close_lookup (slim default). Full registry profile (21 tools: check_stack, changes, deadlines, search_error, ...): https://breakwire.org/mcp?profile=full; every tool is callable by name on either. Optional Authorization: Bearer only for write tools. Server card: https://breakwire.org/.well-known/mcp/server.json ## 4.
